Ts. Dr. Nur Ilyana Anwar Apandi

Nur Ilyana Anwar Apandi was born in Melaka, Malaysia, and received a B.Sc. degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, an M.Sc. degree from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom, and a PhD degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. She began her academic career with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, UTM, in 2003. Since 2008, she has been with the Department of Mechatronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia, Melaka, as an Engineering Mathematics Lecturer. Currently, she is a senior lecturer, an IEEE member, and a Professional Technologist for the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) in the Telecommunication & Broadcasting Technology field and an Editorial Board member for the International Journal of Electrical Engineering and Applied Sciences (IJEEAS). Up to today, she has headed three research projects and secured total funding (including co-research projects) worth more than RM1 million. She has authored and co-authored almost 10 teaching & learning publications and over 50 technical journals and papers in various local and international conference proceedings. Her current research interests include system modeling, applied engineering mathematics, and wireless telecommunications applications. She subscribes to herself as a lifetime student of knowledge.
