Research Portfolio

1. Cili-padi Picking Robot

Cili-padi picking robot is developed in collaboration with a few researchers from UTeM, researchers from other universities, industrial involvement as well as other government agency. It aims to initiate a groundwork to automate and modernize the way Cili-padi farmers work in the field.

We believe that developing a Cili-padi picking robot will jump-start the technology adoption movement in Cili-padi farming among other technology such as embedding automation systems like a timing water pump, remote monitoring, and Robotic pesticide spraying.

2. Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Detection

There is two technique that has been explored for non-invasive blood glucose detection which is by using Near Infrared Sensor and by using Galvanic Skin Response.
