Improvement Plans
From the teaching evaluation scores, it shows that my changing from traditional teaching method to blended learning approach is appreciated and welcomed by students. From my current implementation, I have a plan to improve my teaching as follows:
- Insert more interactive elements and more innovative strategies into my teaching.
- Introduce and encourage different types of learning styles to my students.
- Recognize and celebrate achievements.
- Improvement in collecting feedbacks in a more structure way.
Future Plans
Based on my improvement plan, the most important thing to do is to insert more interactive elements and innovative strategies into my teaching. I would like to apply more educational apps that engage students better to their learning. Other than that, I plan to flip the assignment assessment into a new form instead of traditional way.
Students get used with the traditional learning style. So, I hope to introduce and encourage them to try different types of learning styles to discover the styles that are best suit to them to improve their learning quality. Blended learning will still be applied but more learning materials, activities and online courses will be developed to serve different types of learning style to my students.
Students are adult but people from all age ranges love to be recognized with their achievements. This leads to a positive reinforcement to keep them motivated to learn and challenge themselves to do better.
All these whiles, I am collecting feedbacks from students based on the lessons. I plan collect feedback from students based on the learning outcomes of the course and a survey in structure will be designed to collect useful feedbacks from students for my improvement.
