The Inbound Mobility Program in the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technology and Engineering (FTKEK), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) refers to students from outside UTeM considering spending a semester or an academic year (2 semesters) with us for credit transfer programs.
FTKEK offers undergraduate and postgraduate electronics and computer-related engineering and technology programs. Established in 2000, FTKEK provides a sound foundation for students transitioning from higher education into the workforce. Students learn from experienced lecturers and industry experts, empowering TVET and engineering as our core foundation for program development.
Aside from that, FTKEK, UTeM provide fun, excitement, and a conducive learning environment for students to experience campus life. Studying and travelling to UTeM in Melaka, Malaysia, offers students a chance to experience the multicultural environment and enjoy various food and tourist spots unique to Malaysia.

- Immerse yourself in academic excellence with the flexibility to study for 1 to 3 semesters, based on availability and personal preferences.

- September/October to January (1st semester)
- February/March to June (2nd semester)

Active Academic Engagement:
- Attend classes and actively participate in assignments, projects, tests, tutorials, examinations, and other related academic activities.

Additional Course Options:
- Enhance your skill set by enrolling in optional courses focusing on leadership, communication, analytical thinking, critical thinking, social skills, and business management.

Enriching Extracurricular Opportunities:
- Seize the opportunity to participate in extracurricular programs, educational trips, and outdoor excursions for a holistic learning experience.

Transcript of Achievement:
- Upon completing the programme, all participants will receive an official transcript documenting their academic accomplishments.

Eligibility
- Must be nominated by the home university.
- English proficiency: upon nomination, your home university must indicate your reading, writing, speaking, and listening proficiency.
- Currently in the second semester and above, if you want to apply for a full-semester credit transfer program,
- CGPA of 2.75 and above or equivalent.
(Partner universities with UTeM will be exempt from study fees and accommodation based on a reciprocal agreement between the two universities.)
