A Successful 1 Full-Day Courtesy Visit: Strengthening Collaboration between UNPRI and FTKEK UTeM

We are thrilled to share the highlights of a highly successful 1-day courtesy visit organized between the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Prima, Medan (UNPRI), and the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technology and Engineering (FTKEK) at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). The purpose of this visit was to encourage collaboration, share knowledge, and strengthen the relationship between the two institutions in electronics and computer engineering.

The courtesy visit encompassed academic interactions and student mobility, providing an enriching experience for the participants. The trip included visiting historical sites and important attractions in Melaka and Malaysia, such as museums, Putrajaya, and Batu Caves, to experience the vibrant culture and landmarks of the capital city. The program, which took place from 10th to 15th October 2023, included a visit to UTeM on 12th October, where the 11 student participants and 3 accompanying lecturers from UNPRI were warmly welcomed. The location of the program was at FTKEK, UTeM, situated in Melaka, Malaysia. The participants had the privilege of visiting the state-of-the-art laboratories at FTKEK, UTeM, providing them with hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge research facilities.

The 1-day courtesy visit between UNPRI and FTKEK, UTeM, was a resounding success. The collaborative efforts and knowledge exchange between students and lecturers through the planned Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) have paved the way for future endeavours and will be led by DR. MOHD AZLISHAH BIN OTHMAN.
